Valentine’s Day Charity Ball, which will take place on February 12, at Ghika Palace, has announced its winners for the Forget-Me-Not Award, offered to notable contributions in the Romanian civil society. This year’s humanitarian award will go to Steven and Valeria van Groningen, as Mike Costache, strategy and fundraising director of the Blue Heron Foundation announced during a press conference held today. “This year we will honor the Van Groningens, for their sustained efforts to improve the life conditions of underprivileged children. Together with the over 250 guests who have confirmed their presence at the event, we will try hard to make their evening unforgettable,” Costache (picture) stated during the press conference.
At the Valentine’s Day Charity Ball jazz singer Teodora Enache has announced that she will hold a recital. The event’s program also includes a fashion show with the finalists of Miss Universe Romania.
