I am so delighted to share with you the publication of my poetry book “Green Horses on the Walls,” newly available on Amazon and all online booksellers. As of this morning my book is rated #1 New Release in European Poetry on Amazon. Below is the announcement I made yesterday on Facebook, I think these words say it best:
“Green Horses in the Walls” is a Romanian expression meaning to have impossible dreams. I started writing spoken word poetry when I landed in Washington DC exactly ten years ago. Since then I have performed my work at open mics across the US and RO under my stage name ‘Lady Godiva.’ Writing these poems for me has been all about community and catharsis. My poems deal with difficult topics (inherited trauma, crimes of communism, mental health, and sexual assault) and all are honest. Please consider buying my book! It’s a lot cheaper than the last one, and if you feel so inclined write a review as well! Thank you all for your support over the years. My journey has not been linear and I hope my poems can give a sense of how out of darkness comes light and hope.
