Many, many thanks to you-our amazing community here in Colorado. At our #rafafundraiser last week we raised funds for two special humanitarian causes-both focused on helping children who are less fortunate. We have raised close to $5000 from the fundraiser. RAFA has added some extra contribution to donate to the two causes we selected.
One of the causes supported is #casabuna. RAFA has donated $3000 to this organization today. They are a group of amazing volunteers who help support children living in a poor neighborhood right outside of Bucharest access school and educational services by tutoring them during after school hours and on the weekends. They provide transportation to and from their “casa buna” to the kids’ homes. They ensure that they have food on their table and periodically get medical checkups. They also provide vocational mentoring and support to help kids stay in school and have a chance to defy the odds of becoming integrated and successful members of their community. Our second cause is Play for Good campaign through RUF and MagiCAMP. At our fundraiser last week, we were able to raise enough funds to send five children to camp!!! That is truly amazing! #rafa has rounded up the sum and we have contributed $3000 to the #playforgood campaign today. We have joined our efforts with #RUF and #MagiCAMP and want to extend the opportunity for many others in our community to be part of this magic movement. The campaign #playforgood will continue throughout the month of June, 2021.MagiCAMP is a special camp for children with various and severe medical conditions. We all know someone special who fought bravely for their life, and every MagiCAMP kid is special this way. Please consider to join #rafa’s and #RUF‘s efforts to reach their goal, which is to send 250 children to a special #MagiCAMP this summer !!! Thank you!!!
